EXCELLO Bicycle Seat & Mfg. Company, LLC was created by Norman Oberto to manufacture & distribute the most comfortable, aesthetically appealing, light weight, and custom fitted bicycle seat in existence.

The patented design provides ten (10) different options/adjustments to facilitate a bicycle seat fitted to your own physical make up and for the style of riding you desire. No other bicycle seat can make this claim.

We call this customization feature the Adjustable Cradle Perch (ACP) Bicycle Seat System. The “How It works!” menu page walks you through the premise for creating the correct fit for each individual.

The name EXCELLO was selected because Norman was born in EXCELLO, Missouri, a small coal mining town. His father and mother were living in EXCELLO, Missouri, and his father worked for the Wabash Railroad in nearby Moberly, Missouri. After Norman was born, his family relocated to Decatur, Illinois, where his father helped start up the locomotive repair facility for the Wabash Railroad Company. EXCELLO still exists outside of Mason, Missouri. Norman still has relatives in the area, and many memories of visiting EXCELLO and the surrounding area.

EXCELLO is also from the Latin verb “EXCELLO,” meaning: “to excel,” “be eminent,” or “to surpass.” All of these seem to fit the idea of a comfortable, aesthetically appealing, stylish, and customizable bicycle seat thus:
